This is a realization of a long-term project that must be born earlier this week. The association Optics solidarity launches on Monday the "pass glasses." A device that should allow seniors whose financial resources are too thin to allow them to purchase a mutual good, to provide appropriate spectacles from their view. 8,000 to 10,000 people, aid recipients in the complementary health throughout France, and should soon receive a voucher to enjoy a fitness trail at cost, including consultation with the ophthalmologist, and the purchase glasses with progressive lenses from an optician.

No low cost

"We are working on this project for three years," says Xavier Subirana, ophthalmologist and president of the Optical solidarity. He says the idea inspired by the HEC Chair "Social Businee / Enterprise and Poverty" as co-chairs Martin Hirsch has mobilized the entire industry. "Danone is one of the pioneers of social business, but in this case we thought it was much more efficient to use the entire industry as a business." To date, 13 additional health (including AG2R La Mondiale, April, Groupama …), 500 opticians, Essilor as industrial and ophthalmologists have concentrated their power to facilitate the implementation of the concept. "It's not a charity that requires a donation. Here people pay for their glasses, "says Nicolas Lambert, owner of Essilor France. Ultimately, the patient should spend at most a few dollars instead of 300 euros today. "This is an innovative business model where one neither gains nor loses money. And this is not the low cost, says Xavier Subirana, people buy the raw material and technology. Everything else is covered by the efforts of the margins at various levels by the industry. The doctor's visit is to be discounted fully refundable. " For now, Nicolas Lambert admits even Essilor making losses. To produce the lenses, and assemble the eleven models of glasses offered by the pass, the company is including operated its plant in Toulouse outside normal production hours.

140,000 persons concerned

But to make the project a success, we must know the device. Tested later this year in Marseille, the "eye pass" has proven its usefulness but also revealed the difficulty of reaching the target. "We know that some seniors throw good because they think it is an advertisement," lamented Xavier Subirana. As such, the role of complementary health is important because it is they who must identify people who can benefit. "The more mutual partners in the project will increase the more we can touch people," says association president. Discussions are also underway with new complementary. The first patients in the Paris region should get their equipment in early June. It will be a little longer for the province because of the smaller number of ophthalmologists. Then a second phase will be launched by the end of the year. Eventually 140,000 people should benefit from "pass glasses." In addition, the partners hope that their initiative will give ideas to other sectors.

Right in his boots but educational. Thierry Thuillier, head of information of France Televisions, did not intend to change its course despite the confidence motion addressed to him by writing nationale de France 3 on Tuesday night. The latter accused the group of "systematically favor France 2 on the pool coverage of political events and international." Similarly, she worries about the consequences of "pooling of resources between the two shooting strings."

If he does not deny the importance of the message, the strongman of the information of France Televisions prefers to explain without giving up the strategy adopted two years ago. "There is unease should be dispelled," he concedes. "Every two years, part of the national drafting of France 3 raises the question of its identity and its future and concludes with a confidence motion. However, our strategy can not evolve because it is consistent and the results are there. "It reaffirms that" there is no question of reducing the national writing because we are already at minimum staffing possible nor to remove these editions essential if only for a matter of status for France 3 ". Moreover, he recalls, "hearings are" 19-20 "are above the 17% audience share. More than double the average chain. In two years on this installment, we gained 400,000 viewers while everyone loses. "

An editorial in France own

3 When the "12-13", accused of "making of Jean-Pierre Pernaut" Thierry Thuillier advance even numbers: "He is accused of making too many news items? But this represents only 5% of these newspapers, "he says cash advance now. Thierry Thuillier continues to claim the editorial line-up to France 3: "It may not be the same as that of France 2. Because it is the color of the chain, we decided to focus the second parts of JT on proximity and daily life of the French. I do not think about transportation, education and all issues that cross the life of the French in the sub-word! "He said that" France 3 teams also cover major international events. "

There remains the puzzling question of bad election nights of hearings on France 3. For the leader, "the real political event in the chain regions is less presidential than legislative. With 24 regional editorial, it would be wrong not to enjoy it! ". Finally, inherited Thierry Thuillier, on his arrival two years ago, a unique company already under way and a pooling of resources "theory, but to achieve": "The latter, he says, has helped create more than 200 reports over three minutes, and reduce by half the subjects redistributed.

Moreover, the shootings have in common the last month shown that 10-15% of the subjects of France 3. In all cases, the budget gives the group does not return to the system yesterday when France Televisions reached five cameras on the same press conference, "he concludes.

New trial for Yahoo!. The U.S. internet group announced Sunday it had appointed a new temporary chief executive, Ross Levinsohn, replacing Scott Thompson less than five months after the arrival thereof at the head of the company. "Scott Thompson left the company" Yahoo! justifies no further details. The group further states that Fred Amoroso has been named president of the board to replace Roy Bostock.

This change in the leadership of a pioneering Internet companies, now embattled, was announced a few hours after the release of information on the site dedicated to news reports All Things Digital. The article reported an imminent departure of former CEO in the wake of a controversy provoked by the discovery of falsification of his CV. A few days earlier, Patti Hart, director of the group, had also been forced to leave the band for the same reasons: she had embellished his CV.

According to All Things Digital, the reason for the "abrupt departure" is only due to the activism of hedge fund Third Point, a leading shareholder of Yahoo! with 5.8% stake. A shareholder who has been trying for several years to gain seats and influence within the board had asked the head of Scott Thompson. And the fund has been successful. In fact, Yahoo! has agreed that the boss of Third Point, Daniel Loeb, and two persons selected by him, Harry Wilson and Michael Wolf, are seated on the board from Wednesday. The Board is pleased to announce these changes and this agreement with Third Point, and is confident they will be in the best interests of our shareholders, "we read in Yahoo! News.

The group did not, however, extends the strategy it intends to follow in the future, simply stating that "in as interim CEO, Ross Levinsohn will direct the day to day running of the company, helped by the existing team of executives from Yahoo! ". This last Sunday was up global director of the media branch of Yahoo! It is the fifth CEO to take the reins of the group in five years. The question is whether Yahoo! will manage to raise the head above water.

In Norway, one of the richest countries in the world, the housing bubble never ceases to blow. Prices have doubled in less than ten years. The increase has further accelerated in the last quarter of 2011, fueled by falling interest rates. The Norwegian Central Bank, like its neighbors Sweden and Denmark, has changed its monetary strategy in December to counter the appreciation of his crown. "The monetary authorities are faced with a dilemma. Their priority now is to boost exports in a less favorable international context, the risk of maintaining the housing bubble, "says Caroline Newhouse of BNP Paribas.

There is also an effect "euro zone", the economist added: foreign capital sought refuge in the Nordic economies, spared by the European crisis and healthier financially. To say in the Norwegian case, the country has with its sea-kissed gas and oil a budget surplus of 10 to 15% of GDP on average and a sovereign fund with 400 billion euros. Boosted by exports and investment, in 2011 Norway experienced a growth of 2.5% of GDP and unemployment fell to 2.7% in February.

All positive factors that stimulate consumption and real estate credit. "The ratio of household debt to disposable income has grown very large: it rose from 125% in 2000 to over 200% today," says Caroline Newhouse instant personal loans guaranteed.

Back in Denmark

In early February, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned against the risk of bursting of the housing bubble and its consequences on the banking system, the situation of households, and more generally on the country's economic health. The IMF, which considers house prices overvalued by 15 to 20%, slightly revised down its growth forecast to 2.2% of GDP for 2012.

It must be said that the real estate bubble burst in early 2011, after the rise in interest rates, no end to wreak havoc on the small Danish economy has plunged into recession in the second half of the year. Prices continue to fall and foreclosures have reached their highest in 17 years.

In Sweden, the landing is smoother, "the year 2011 was marked by the gradual turnaround in the housing market," said Nathalie Dezeure Natixis. All indicators – start of construction, residential investment, transaction volumes and property prices – are down but still at high levels. Concerned about the phenomenon, the Riksbank has commissioned several studies. It turns out that the movement is less speculative than structural, linked to a shortage of supply becomes problematic in central Stockholm.

eBizcuss does not intend to disappear without a stir. He accuses Apple of its undoing. The small independent retailer specializing in products for the Apple brand, will declare itself insolvent by early next week. And he fully intends to increase the lawsuits against the U.S. giant. The dealer accuses Apple of failing to honor its deliveries. By the end of 2011, eBizcuss complained of not receiving iPhone and iPad. Quite embarrassing for the shops (8 in France, employing 120 people for a turnover of EUR 78 million) dedicated to the Apple brand. The French also accused the U.S. of diverting customers to do. "Consumers come to us, we explain the products, but we did not, they'll buy an Apple Retail Store," complains a saleswoman. Abuse of dominant position, abuse of economic dependence, unfair competition, parasitic practices … eBizcuss wants to attack on all fronts, complain to the Commercial Court and before the Competition Authority.

No response from Apple

Legal proceedings that will save the company certainly does, but are primarily intended to talk about it.

The spokesman eBizcuss do not hesitate to take the debate on other planes, recalling that Apple does not pay all his taxes in France: the purchases made by a French iTunes are charged via Luxembourg, which allows the firm to Tim Cook not to pay VAT in France. Faithful to its principles, Apple does not respond to these attacks. The group has already said not to be responsible for managing independent dealers.

The savings are worth more little and rental property remains the safe haven of many French. They hope to build a heritage and (rents repay the loan), or to obtain additional income for their old age. However, with soaring prices of the stone over the last decade, the profitability of real estate has waned. Because rents have not followed the same inflationary pressures. They grew more or less the same rate as household incomes. Between 1998 and 2012, rents (excluding fees) charged to the relocation of an existing dwelling, have increased by 2.6% per year, according to the observatory rents Clamor. And only 1.2% in the nine. Result, in ten years, the annual return of real estate rose by an average of 6.5% to 4% before tax. And much less after taxes. Because rents are among the highest taxed income. When less than 15,000 euros gross, the investor benefits from an allowance of 30%. But beyond this amount, income is taxed at marginal tax rate of investors plus the payroll taxes of 15.5% in 2012. We must also consider the property tax, which has risen sharply over the past five years according to the National Union of Real Property (UNPI).

More marked fall in the Ile-de-France

The fall in rental income is more pronounced in the Ile-de-France where prices of stone flew from the late 1990s. The evolution of the current yield (calculated by dividing the purchase price of property by the rent less the cost of management), makes clear. Whereas in 1999 the rental investment from 10.4% reported gross in Seine-Saint-Denis in Paris and 5.8% in 2009, investors could get better at 5.6% gross, this time in the Val d'Oise and 3.8% gross in the capital according to a study by the Institute of savings in housing and land (IEIF). Since 2009, the rental income has fallen further, especially in Paris where prices continued their mad ascent. The capital was, however, in recent years a good investment. "The overall performance (gain and efficiency) of investment in rental Paris was good compared to other financial investments," said Gilbert Emont, author of the study IEIF. "The price surge has allowed those who have sold their homes to reap substantial gains. These have significantly improved the performance of assets at current yield mediocre. "Yields were somewhat more resilient in the provinces. In 2009, the range was between 7.5 and 4.7% gross in large cities (against 9.4 to 6.2% in 1999). "But sometimes, high profitability is associated with a significant risk, including rental vacancies," said Eric Pompon, director of Meeschaert Estate Board. Investment in new via the Scellier remains interesting. It offers a tax reduction equal to 13% of the purchase price of the property in exchange for renting out for nine years. The rental yield is estimated at 4% on average through the tax savings (against 6% in 2011). "But be careful not to overpay good and be sure you can rent it by choosing a quality site," said Eric Pompon.Quel the mode of investment, small areas are rented more expensive per square meter that are larger and hence more profitable, even if tenants are more fickle, especially in the studios. Most of the rental demand elsewhere on the door of an apartment and one bedroom. "Although real estate is worth more than all the past, it remains more profitable than other investments and helps protect against inflation, not to mention the potential capital gain generated on the resale of property "says Eric Pompon.

The call to strike by three unions (CGT, CFDT and UNSA) air traffic controllers will cancel and delay several flights to Orly and some regional airports. At Air France, which opened two new bases Sunday in Toulouse and Nice, it ensures that customers affected by such disruption are informed as and by SMS, email, ur website or via smartphone applications . The company says that there will be no cancellation of flights from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, otherwise some delays. The strike only for domestic flights and will have no effect on the medium and long haul flights, except for some possible delays on takeoff.

At Orly, "it is about 20% of preventive flight cancellations, according to what had been announced. There are no delays or queues, "says one at the airport. "There may be additional disturbances, but not until the mid-morning." For its part, easyJet has already canceled 16 flights today from or arriving at Orly airport and advises all passengers to "check the status of their flights regularly." In all, the airlines have so far deleted about one flight in five between today and tomorrow, departing or arriving at Orly short term personal loans.

Eighteen flights have already been canceled at Lyon Saint-Exupery. These flights come from or go to Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Pau and Metz. At the airport of Biarritz-Anglet-Bayonne "disturbances" were announced, which result in the removal of some flights. It is recommended that travelers contact their airline for more information. resulting in the cancellation of a particular movement in the Basque Country this day of presidential candidate Eva Joly.

The unions called the strike to oppose a plan to restructure air traffic control services in the provinces, which would imply a decline in numbers. Air traffic controllers, agents of the public service, have an obligation to provide minimum services. However, if the strike notice is required, the strikers did not have to declare individually 48 hours in advance, as is the case for railway or recently for pilots and stewards.

No turnaround but no collapse either. Dissemination of the mainstream press has eroded again in 2011, an average of 2.26%, a decrease of similar magnitude in 2010, according to figures presented Thursday by the OJD, the body diffusion control of the press. According to the Observatory, the French have bought a total of just over 4 billion copies last year.

All families press record a slowdown in sales. If the decline is marked for magazines (-3.11%), it remains contained to the regional daily press (-2.28%) and the national daily press (-1.36%). Among the dailies, Francedemeure West title with the highest circulation (748,213 copies in France paid broadcast). Le Figaro (321,101 copies) and The World (292,062 copies) dominate nationally. Erosion is strongest for Sunday newspapers (-4%) and regional weeklies (-4.4%).

Among the major categories of magazines, newspapers television (TV Magazine, TV Z, Tele 7 Jours …), which represents 40.6% of volumes of magazines, fell by 3.3% between 2010 and 2011. This withdrawal explains to a large extent the magnitude of the decline of all magazines. The women, who had risen in 2010, this time displayed a drop of 2%. Hardest hit the tabloids, which had peaked between 2006 and 2008, accelerating its reflux of 4.6%. Only general news headlines (Paris Match, Le Figaro Magazine …) and news (Le Nouvel Observateur, L'Express …) take their game well, limiting their respective decreases of 0.55% and 0.76%.

Accessibility problem

In smaller classes, lower often exceeds 3%. The sporting press (Team Mag, France Football …) fell by 7.6%, the business press (Capital Challenges …) and the press room (Maxi Cuisine, Regal …) of 4.6% and children's press ( Scrooge Super Giant, Le Journal de Mickey …) 5%. Down sharply, the press photo-film-video-music (First, … Studio Ciné Live) fell by almost 8%. Among the most affected families, the computer press (14%) male and the press (27%) due to the shutdown of securities. However, the press auto-moto and one dedicated to science exhibit good resistance.

For Bartement Patrick, CEO of OJD, it is relative sector crisis. "The spread has declined 20% in five years, 500 million copies in less, he says. But this decline is entirely due to lower sales copy, that is to say, in kiosks and newsagents electronic check payday advance. For subscription sales remained stable, thanks to the portage. "The evidence, he said that the problem facing the press is the first of its distribution network. "When the press is available, the press is selling," says Patrick Bartement. The ongoing restructuring of NMPP, the first distributor of the press in France, is in this sense crucial if the sector is the trend.

More than 35 million readers a day

The French are big consumers of news. This is the main teaching of the first One study, presented Thursday at the 22nd Observatory of the press of OJD. One meets for the first time all the families of press in a single audience measurement, using the same methodology. Every day in France, more than 35 million people read at least one press title, 69% aged 15 and older. Better: they are 97% to pick up a newspaper in hand each month.

On average, 7.1 French read different titles: 1.4 and 5.7 daily magazines. Very fond of magazines, they skim regularly as TV news, but especially securities interests in the world of women, health, cooking, celebrities and family, not to mention the news, the titles "pictures" and economic or home-decor and garden.

Daily newspapers, logically, shorter life spans. At 8 am, 20% of readers of this press have already covered their favorite track. They are 70% at midday. In the family of magazines, weekly newspapers are read for 2.6 days, three days monthly and bimonthly (every two months) 3.4 days. The handling of securities, that is to say the number of times the reader reads the newspaper, reaching 6 to 7 times for magazines, against just over 2.5 for both national and regional newspapers, and 1.6 times for free daily.

All these reading habits are enriched by the rise of digital. The new study incorporates these new forms of reading, which increase the power of writing. One particular reveals that Internet users are also strong supporters of the press, with an average of 7.3 titles read.
